  • Engaging competent HSE surveillance practitioners to provide the necessary advice and guidance

  • Using risk management techniques to identify risks and implement effective controls

  • Continually improving systems and services to reduce HSE risks and impacts to As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP)

  • Minimising impact on the environment by carrying out business activities consistent with the principles of ecologically sustainable development

  • Setting and monitoring of key performance indicators and targets in order to openly communicate and share information on HSE issues

  • Monitoring the offshore workforce health surveillance records and data to verify the effectiveness of the HSE controls

  • Engaging with stakeholders at all levels to promote a proactive healthy, safe and environmentally friendly workplace culture

  • Developing contingency plans for emergency situations and potential security breaches
