NOGA’s foundation asset is the Laminaria-Corallina development in the Timor Sea.

NOGA entered into an agreement to acquire a 100% interest in Production Licences WA-18-L and AC/L5 which contain the producing Laminaria and Corallina oil fields and associated infrastructure, including the Northern Endeavour Floating Production Storage and Offloading facility (FPSO). This sale agreement was completed on 29 April 2016.

The Laminaria and Corallina oil fields are located in the northern Bonaparte Basin in the Timor Sea, approximately 550 km northwest of Darwin. The fields were discovered in 1994/95, with first production in November 1999. The fields are located in approximately 400m water depth.

The development consists of subsea wells tied back to the FPSO through a system of subsea manifolds, flowlines, umbilicals and dynamic risers. Oil, gas and water are separated on the FPSO and stabilised oil is offloaded to trading tankers for export.
